The questions I get most often
What’s the difference between regular cleaning and a deep clean?
Regular cleaning keeps a clean home clean: the kitchen, bathrooms, floors and dusting. A deep clean goes after what I don’t reach every visit, such as the inside of cupboards, the tops of door frames and behind the appliances. It takes longer, and the price follows.
How much does a house cleaner cost in Gatineau?
My price depends on four things: the size, the condition of the place at the start, the number of bathrooms and how often I come. A house kept up every two weeks costs less per visit than a deep clean done once a year, at the same address. Give me the size and the area and I’ll give you a price before the first visit.
Do you clean in Aylmer, Hull and Chelsea?
Yes. I travel to Aylmer, Hull, Gatineau, Masson-Angers, Buckingham, L’Ange-Gardien, Chelsea, Cantley, Luskville and Breckenridge. If your address sits right next to one of them, call anyway.
Do you clean offices and commercial spaces in Gatineau?
Yes. Alongside homes, I clean offices, commercial units and shared spaces in Gatineau and across the Outaouais: shared areas, washrooms, floors and bins. We agree on the frequency and the price before the first visit.
Are products and special requests included?
Yes, I bring my own products. We talk about it before the first visit. A delicate surface, an allergy, a pet or a product you’d rather I didn’t use: tell me and I’ll adjust. If you’d rather I used your own products, I’ll use yours.
Do you do home reorganizing?
Yes. I sort and reorganize the spaces that overflow, closets, kitchen cupboards, basement, garage, then give the rooms involved a thorough clean. We decide together what stays. It’s a longer visit than a regular clean, and the price is agreed on beforehand.
Can we set up regular cleaning?
Yes, every week, every two weeks, every month, or a single visit when the need comes up. We settle on the day together at the first visit and it stays yours.
Do you do post-construction cleaning?
No. I don’t do post-construction cleanup. That’s a different trade, with different equipment.
